Specific descriptions of music teacher Training systems in European countries

 

In the framework of the EFMET project (European Forum for Music Education and Training) information has been collected on national systems for music teacher training in Europe. Two types of music teachers are distinguished in this overview:

A) Music teachers who work in kindergarten, primary and secondary level educational institutions (schools) as part of the national general educational systems and
B) Instrumental/vocal music teachers teaching in e.g. music schools.
